We love the things we love for what they are. --Robert Frost
NH poet laureate

As a NH Justice of the Peace and wedding officiant, I have been assisting couples in making their Wedding Day special for over fifteen years.
I enjoy custom tailoring ceremonies to suit each individual couple, but many brides and grooms enjoy writing their entire ceremonies themselves, and I have received some of my best ideas this way.
Many couples are now choosing to stress their wedding as a family celebration or tribute to their heritage. and I would be delighted to assist you in designing a ceremony that meets your desires. I also have many pre-composed ceremonies that are available as is, or that I would be glad to modify to suit your needs.
Below is a link to my page with some of the many ring vows we have used over the years.

Most of the weddings I officiate at are planned months in advance, but I frequently perform a ceremony on short notice as long as a valid license is issued. The shortest notice was fifteen minutes. The officiant who had agreed to perform the ceremony had mistaken the day and was out of town. The wedding was celebrated and the families and guests were not disappointed.

I live near Keene NH which is the county seat of Cheshire County.
We are in the southwestern part of New Hampshire and are known as the Monadnock Region, named for our beautiful MT. Monadnock. It is the most climbed mountain in the world. This distinction belonged to Mt. Fugi in Japan before public transportation to the summit became available.

Nestled around Monadnock are many typical New England towns and the small friendly City of Keene.
While we are a progressive area, the love for our surroundings and the efforts to preserve them have made our little secret known far and wide as the "Real New England" and the Currier and Ives Corner of New England.
Along our western border runs the Conneticut River. NH is the only state that lays claim to the entire portion of a boundry river. Our neighbors in Vt. are not too happy with this unique situation. I like it though, as I am able to perform weddings on the river.

So come and visit us, to get married and honeymoon at one of our delightful country inns, or to just get away from the bustle of everyday life.

If for some reason, I am not available on "Your Day" I would be glad to put you in touch with other officiants.

If you are a NH wedding officiant please contact me. I have many inquiries for services out of my area and would really like to be able to pass your name and phone # along.

I am now able to perform marriage ceremonies at the beautiful Cathedral of the Pines in Rindge. I am very impressed with the care they provide for their couples. The staff is very knowlegable and the facilities excellent. There is a link to their website below.

NOTE:For some unknown reason I have not been able to reply to e-mail from a few AOL subscribers. If you are one please include phone # in case I have to reach you that way.

Massachusetts has a quirky law that allows anyone (yes , even Unlcle Joe!) to obtain a one day license to perform a marraige ceremony. If you would like me to be that someone, the distance isn't too great and I have time to get the license, I would love to be with you.

Be sure to check out the new link on changing your name, it is by a lawyer and it is FREE- a great resource.

Don't go for looks; they can deceive. Don't go for wealth; even that fades away. Go for someone who makes you smile, because it takes only a smile to make a dark day seem bright. Find the one that makes your heart smile. . --ANON
